While at the wine store this time, I was looking for some new wines to try and review, and went out of my way to look for some different things. While in the sparkling wine aisle, I saw two low priced bottles with minimalistic labeling (actually direct printing on the bottle), each one's label being a color (Pink in one case, Yellow in the other). For the price, it was definitely worth a try.

I shared this bottle with a friend that loves bubbly, and it was definitely a welcome respite from the heavier sparkling Shiraz.

Tasting more like a traditional champagne, this wine yields both strawberry and lime flavors, which is an interesting and very fun combination.

This is a definite must buy

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
